Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck By Nissan At Baltimore County Intersection, Police Say

A woman was pronounced dead at an area hospital days after being struck by a driver crossing through a busy Baltimore County intersection in the middle of the night.

At approximately 1:45 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15, officers from the Baltimore County Police Department were called to the intersection of Pulaski Highway and Chesaco Avenue to investigate a reported pedestrian strike.

The investigation into the crash found that the woman was walking in the roadway of Chesaco Avenue when she was struck by a Nissan Versa that was driving through the area.

She was rushed to an area hospital and later died from her injuries, the department announced on Friday, March 17. Her name and age have not been released by police investigators.

Officials noted that the driver of the Nissan remained at the scene and cooperated with police. The crash remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Crash Team.
